so I recently just got pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign and got a citation for it. Now I have to drag my arse down to court on the 10th and I was wondering do traffic citations violate my probation?
relax my friend, you are fine. simple traffic offenses are issued a civil citation. a little traffic ticket for a moving violation is not going to be considered violating your probation. if for example you committed an arrestable offense (drug possession, dui, assault & battery etc) you would need to be worried, but a stop sign violation is no big deal.
no, only criminal charges violate your probation, not traffic offenses, unless that traffic offense is drunk driving or evading an officer haha, which aren't traffic violations, there criminal offenses.
nope, same thing happened to me, i got in a wreck on probation and it didnt effect it at all. if you have like 10 tickets then that might violate it
