Well i'm cruisin down 32, listnenin to some death metal at damn near ear piercing intensity and i see a cop chillin in the median cross over (you know, the emergerncy vehicle only turnabouts). i pass him, see the brakes flash and look down at my speedometer... "fuck, i'm doin 66 in a 55...", i had it on cruise control lol... Now, i'm still a little baked from earlier which was what kept me all mellow. the cop gets up behind me and puts his blinker on instead of lights... i got confused so i just started to slow down and flashing red lights turned on. Sooooo i pulled over and this early 30's black cop comes up to the window being really cool actually "What's going on bro. Where ya headed?" "Work" I say, "Overnight shifts suck" He says "Hell yea they do. You running a little late?" I tell him no, that "I'm just sorta cruisin' and listening to music." "Ah, just jammin a bit. Cool. Got anything illegal in there i should know about?" "No Sir. You can check if you like." He says "Nah, i'll give you a break. Later." rofl, coolest cop ever. A little suprised but it turned out great. i wasnt even nervous lol. Also awesome, i got no written warning or anything, the guy just probably got bored or something... Anyways, i'm here at work, doing nothing except eating taco bell and feelin good.
Ha very cool cop indeed. But never say "you can check me if you want" cuz if the cop does there might be something in there you 'forgot' about. You'll find weed in the strangest places...

Wow, sounds like a cool fuckin cop... I'm surprised he was really that cool... I've met a couple 'cool' cops in the past, but mostly just hassle me for ages until they find somethin >.< I have a negative outlook on cops, but that doesn't mean I acknowledge there's good cops, just mostly douche bag on power trips... I met an off duty sheriff that worked in and around the Leavenworth prison... Played beer pong with that motha fucka cool ass dude.. This one cute lookin cop pulled us over for a busted headlight, all under age and we have 2 12 packs in the back of the car, and driver was... lets face it, he was hammered but kept his cool very, very well... I covered the beers up with a shirt laying in the back and all was well. Wrote him a ticket and we were off. *Cheers to the cops that are truly protecting the citizens, not trying to gain more revenue by writing tickets for the most remedial things....
driving drunk is a reckless,selfish,and flat stupid crime, and if the officer let the person off, then they aren't doing their job.
I'm not condoning it either, I agree 100% with what you said, but in that story I don't think the cop realized the driver was under the influence, and it was stated that the beer had been hidden. So the officer didn't really let that person off for the crime- she just didn't know the crime was occurring.
that's true, but it depends on how drunk the guy was. I've been "drunk" before and had no issues driving whatsoever. being in 100% control and maybe even more attentative to the road/surroundings... all depends on the person. Yea, this is the first cop to EVER not give me even a written warning... my license is all sorts of fucked up from old shit and even some bullshit... pulled over probably 8 times now... 5 tickets. 2 written warnings. 2 tickets thrown out (thank god lol) but yep, there are plenty of cool cops out there doing the important stuff, not just the mundane "gotta make status quo this month so i'll give bullshit tickets to all the young peoples". i like those guys

That is probably the one thing that can put a smile on my face for days. Not always a cop, but just someone doing his job perfectly, doing it right, he isn't looking for that little bug to put a ticket on your ass. He's just there to Serve and Protect. So far I've been lucky with cops, if we don't count Sergeant Lemay, haha. (I'ts an inside joke within my friends) Elen.
im fairly certain a cop can not check your car if you get pulled over for speeding he would need probable cause to check for anything illegal in your car
Yeah 32 is a cop HAVEN. It's really too bad because it's the best way to get places up in that area off 95 and 29.
