Ok so for right now this second I have a little bit saved for this holiday & hopefully (fingers crossed) if im still workin though out this month ( u know how shit happenz) i'll have a little more added ... & let me tell ya it is hard as fuck resisting the urge of wanting to smoke up all the holiday money ... especially if you got dealers that advertise the buds they have via text message .. so yeah im wondering if any of you blades & bladies have any holiday funds saved up for this xmas bullshit or did it all go up in smoke? ..
Im on some new shit this year. My job finally went to full time this past summer and I've decided instead of buying a bag this weekend like normal, its time for me to save up and buy a fat sack right before Christmas. Will NOT smoke that day though. My grandpa gets out of jail on Christmas day so I'll be spending some good times with my family that day and get stoned as hell that night.
I'm too young to have to worry about buying a ton of people presents, luckily. I feel like once I'm 22+, that's when I will start to worry about that. But for right now, I have maybe $80 in total I'm gonna spend on gifts just for my parents. For everyone else in my family, sorry, outta luck.
i buy a present for someone after every paycheck (started last week). so i dont have to go through trying to save money ill just end up spending on weed when i get bored lol
Got $350 + $200 in bank..... and also i need to save it up for my hoilday to thailand/philappines at the end of the year (after chirstmas)..... But my dad is promising to give me $500 for the trip.... (also its for 2 weeks)
i normally buy a five or ten dollar gift, and then write a page describing that gift and why it makes it so special...its an easy way to be creative without spending a lot...and you would be surprised how many people appreciate the effort a gift like this as opposed to spending all of your money on shit they probably won't even use...
You know i kinda have somewhat of a system myself .. all i do is listen to people whenever your in a store or a mall or sumthin .. just listen out to whats cool to them .. for example if someone went to the mall with me & their trippin off the new jordans ... then hell thats what theyll get come christmas time .. i neva go wrong with this system .. just listening out through the year
a good idea is to pick a special person, and make a theme out of their gifts...I did his a few times including last year for my cousin. She loves France, so I brought France to our living room with six gifts. The first was a map, but would have it wrapped and there would be a little riddle behind it. I think I spent at most $40 dollars, and that included a $20 christmas tree ornament of the Eiffel Tower...yep, theme gifts are the way to go.
