4. There's nothing wrong with weed, God really doesn't care. He made it, in fact, he's probably happy that you are using his natural gift to man. It'll help you focus in church and appreciate God.

5. nothing to be worried about dude..

besides HELL! :devious:

6. i just though it was kinda disrespectful lol

7. Ok, without getting into all the reasons why i hate religion (not necessarily the people, some religious folks are among the most caring you will ever find. Some, unfortunately, are (If you'll excuse the deliberately exaggerated religious motif) spawn of the devil, with their nonsensical fairy tale worldview based on strongly misinterpreted/misTRANSLATED "facts" from over 2000 years ago.

EDIT: i ended up ranting anyway so if you can't be bothered to read, skip to the last line. XD

All the religions of the world can be shown as having a looooot of similarities. The first civilised people, the Sumerians, believed it as fact that a race from the heavens had come down and interbred with the primitive beings there, which produced humans. As a slave species. They referred to the place as Eden. No joke... And the people were called 'Adamu.'.. You see the similarities?? How can any Christian, for example, see that, and go 'well, my faith doesn't allow for that. I choose not to believe that. I have my faith', but it's hard solid fact! This has been SHOWN. It means a LOT of the specifics you're learning are bullshit, and you have to question the origins too. These things went through a lot of doctrines on their way from Jerusalem (or wherever) 1000s of years ago, to you right now. And a lot of censorship and editing. There are a lot of books not included in the bible, such as one where the future mother of Noah receives a message that she is going to immaculately conceive, and that the boy will lead a new world (post- flood). Religion was shaped, introduced, and forced onto humanity as a way to control them through their morality. If you do as we tell you in this life, you will be rewarded in the next.

It's so blatantly transparent to me that I honestly despair that so many people throw away their lives to it. When i learn about the sumerians, my first instinct is EXCITEMENT to learn ALL I CAN about them. Because I want to be closer to the truth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm spiritual. But as Einstein thought, religion is something different.... He said he was a 'deeply religious non-believer'.

Anyway, shit, I seriously ranted about that didn't I. Think I'll add a warning up above (*done*)

---------------------

for those (I predict) who are like "shit man, I just smoked 5 bowls....tl;dr!!!" - here's my actual response to the OP:

if you go to church for personal spiritual reasons, then what's the problem? Weed increases the way you connect links between 1000s of concepts in your head (because everything is connected, and I mean everything. And it helps you see that) and is a spiritual tool for a lot of people. I would highly recommend it be linked with your spiritual practices.

And if you go to church for non-spiritual reasons (ie. your family drag you along, you don't care for religion) then who gives a crap, you're right to not believe in it. You know weed's not bad and you know Jesus probably smoked hashish as he was from Israel around that time. (I think?

So basically. Whatever. XD

8. Forgive me for the double post, but I love how everyone else I see who goes 'omg sorry for this HUGE post guys' are on about a 4 line post.

And then there's me...Ah well. It's one of the few curses that come from having an insatiable thirst for knowledge and having a touchtyping speed in excess of 100 words per minute. Booya booya.

yes because loads of bullspit meaning nothing is so much better than five words that say so much more..

10. "The Lord said unto me, 'I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs.' " -- Isaiah 18:4-5

"Lord, when did we see thee sick or in prison and came unto thee?" And the King will answer and say unto them, "Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethern, ye have done it unto me." -- Matthew 25:39-40

God was probably mad that the rest of the fuckers in your church weren't high.

14. " And the Lord said, smoke that kush, it will make you feel better" -- John 25: 56-45

15. Don't worry, there is no God. have a great life.

16. You also have to mention the Sumarions worshipped Gozer the Gozarian and when Gozer see's Ortho the keymaster they open a doorway to allow Zuul to enter our world. All very important stuff.

17. sometimes smoke before church too..doubt it's a sin brother

18.
" And the Lord said, smoke that kush, it will make you feel better" -- John 25: 56-45
haha I like that!!

19. I smoked before church before. I am not very religious anymore, but i respect my family who is and went with them. I felt closer to a god than i ever have before, closer than all the bible nuts in there, closer than anyone could imagine. But there are certain things i could not come to accept, things that people blindly follow, i just kept thinking, cant any fucking think for themselves? When it comes down to it, we are only going to experience life as we know it, in this body. I would think that any form of individual beliefs regarding a god would be far better than conforming to some group that is plagued with corruption, power, and greed. I am not sure if a god exists, but if one does, then who are they to say what i believe.

20. its nothing to worry about i get blowed befo every servise and i dont give donations either besides putting weed leafs in the offering stone every now and then :D
