Well, I got pulled over for my headlights being too "blue" (bullshit) in the middle of a bowl, so obviously cop smells it, pulls me out of my car and searches it after I gave him permission too.... I know I know, I shouldnt have, but there was already 4 cops standing behind my car ready to search, and I dont think they would have took no for an answer. They would have pulled some Bullshit warrant or something, and searched anyway, so i figured to play it cool since the inevitable is about to happen. So I get caught with a pipe, a grinder, and weed powder that was left over from a nug, it was literally less than 1/10th of a gram of reg. Long story short, I get a ticket for paraphenalia, my headlights, and now apperantly my tail light bulbs arent quite yellow enough, so ticket for that also. Im in Texas, near DFW, and was wondering if anyone could shine some light on ways to get the fines reduced/dropped (hopefully!), and off my record. I called a lawyer that deals with drug cases, and he wanted $3500 up front to take the case... My friend got the same ticket in the next town, and his fines were only $400. My main goal was to take it off my record, and keep the fines from piling up, because the lawyer said that would try and rack up the charges as much as they could (i.e. court fee's) ANY help is appreciated.
