Basically what the title suggests, I have around 10 grand to spend, give me suggestions! I'm looking for something with power behind it, and stick. Fairly open ended hah, thanks in advance blades.
You gotta get one of these man. Then spend the rest of the cash on weed, bitches, and weed. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQh56geU0X8]Rolling a Reliant Robin - Top Gear - BBC - YouTube[/ame]
Awesome! You guys are great, quality responses! Seriously, if you have nothing good to contribute, get the fuck out. Pretty pathetic that you go onto an internet forum just to talk shit to people. Grow up.
I was actually thinking of getting a honda civic, and just modding it. I'm just beginning to get into cars, so I don't know too much. But, yeah, I was looking at a 06 civic Si, how are those?
Your welcome for the great response! Seriously, if you have no sense of humor, get out your own thread. I don't see anyone talking shit man, only you with your panties in a wad. Grow up, and learn to laugh and respect people once in a while.
jetta/passat/golf vr6 toyota mr2 toyota supra Lexus is300 subaru wrx or 2.5 rs Nissan 240sx, Sentra, 300zx, Maxima, etc. If you want reliability honda is a good choice but i hate vtec haha. Toyota, Nissan and VW are reliable... but choose your car wisely. If it were me i would be looking for a subaru wrx... they are perfect for our winters here in MT. Everyone and their brother wants an sti these days... wrx is just a step down which is good enough for me.
please dont buy a ricer this or trans am .... You could get a camaro cheaper though and have the samething basecially you would probly be able to find a good stock unmolested 6 speed 93 - 97 with under 100k miles for like 5 - 8 grand if you look hard enough they got the 5.7 LT1 bout 275h and 300t pretty good for the money
For 10K I would just compare a few cars you like weigh the pros n cons of them. Things like price, power, fuel consumption, insurance, and most of all reliability. Honda might be you're most well rounded bet but its all about preference. Also I would try n avoid buying from anywhere but a dealership you don't wanna get stuck with a lemon. But if you wanna go with a car from the classifieds I would spend half of your allowance on the car then put the other half into maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
If you want a Civic, 10k will get you a baller 88-00 civic. Don't mess with the EP3 and stock Hondas are slow so don't do that either.
ugh. wtf is wrong with you guys recommended fuckin srt4 and shitty fwd cars with shitty american "sports" cars. get a: Sti Audi Mercedes 350z etc. If you want a reliable fast car, do not get a fwd or american car.
Gotta go domestic man. Im talking real american horsepower. I picked up my 94 mustang gt (stick) for 3500. You could pick up an older mustang for cheap and fix it up for next to nothing. Let's do some math, shall we? 82-95 mustang gt - $2000-$4000 - 225 hp Rebuild and reinforce the transmission - $600 - maybe a little gain in hp, but EXTREMELY important New upper and lower intake - $500 - 30-40 hp New heads - $1200 - easily 40 hp CAI - $100-$200 - 10-15 hp Super charger - $3000 - 100+ hp Exhaust(whole system) - $800 Overall your lookin at a 375-450 hp for around 7 or 8 grand. Have fun whippin that around town and remember, no street racing! Take it to the track.
