Got an advanced question about smell

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Davidclavott, Jun 23, 2019.

  1. So, I got a question here for all ya'll that can smell. I have no sense of smell, that nerve was damaged when i was a baby due to an infection and so i now have 0 sense of smell. I've been smoking for a couple years now, but i've not had to deal with this particular situation before so I need some help. If i'm smoking inside, at night, in the hours of about 1am-3am, i'm trying to hide the smell, by smoking out the window. The smell needs to be gone by morning(8am), and not re-enter the house. It's ok if the putside smells a little bit but it'd be bad if it were REALLY strong. Sometimes i use a sploof, but it doesn't take care of the smell from the pipe itself, only the stuff i breathe out. (Also, no idea how much smell a sploof filters out, i just hope it works) i also have a humidifier in the room I smoke in to replace the oder, i use a lemon scent that SEEMS to cover it up. However, I have no idea how much it is capable of dealing with. Now, I've come across the problem of the smell coming BACK inside, through the air vents, and it's making the house stink. People noticed, but haven't traced it back to me yet. How can I stop this from happening? Would it be a better idea to simply smoke in my room with the door closed, window closed, and just use a sploof? Will the humidifier with lemon scent be enough to take care of it? I'm just not familiar enough with how strong weed smells, and how easy the scent is to get rid of. I have never had to hide the smell really before, and I don't know how far it spreads, so I'd love if anyone has any suggestions for me.

  2. Well...
There once was this guy who went on business trips and stayed in hotels.
He always packed ~4 foot of clear plastic tubing. When he wanted to smoke, he would
go in the bathroom and blow his smoke through the toilet vent fan.
He got away with that for years.

  3. Hey man, i worked over the road for a long time in every state in the continental U.S.A. i always enlisted along slim fan that fits inside the Window enough to close at half mast a wet rolled up towel for the bottom of the door and take a bed sheet and a credit card tuck the bed sheet around the crack of the door as for the overall smell i used orange peels just squeezed the peel after taking it off the fruit "ozeum" works great too, grab a spent toilet roll put a fabric softener sheet over one end and seal it with a rubber band, exhale into the apparatus when done we always called it a whoopie use it for the bowl too point the fabric softener side to the fan and set the bowl inside the open end, hope this helps man 11 years all but 2 states and never got caught, take care...

  5. Thanks a lot! This actually helped.
Lotta people just saying go outside but I already know that, i'm just asking for when i want to be INSIDE. so the actual suggestion is awesome.

  6. How will you know it's working?

  7. Friends, also if there's no mention of weed smell by anybody. Nobody suspects me yet, just worried it may get to that point.

  8. you could always invest in a quality dry herb vaporizer; portable or plug-in.

interesting about your sense of smell, OP.
my friend’s mother has a similar situation resulting in complete odor-deafness which began as a baby. she was a long time stoner, too, and I always wondered how different it would be to be a lover of herb without ever having explored the smells.
