so i got a ticket for an open seatbelt amounting to 235$ (seriously wtf). i just got my g1 immediately after this incident, so does anyone know whether or not I still get deducted points even tho it was prior to getting my g1? also im obviously going to appeal this, but this is my first time appealing something, but im assuming that generally most police officers don't show up and you can just deny the charges, correct? if not im gonna go for a sob story to move the judge.
I'm pretty sure that showing up to court means overtime pay for the police.. so yeah you probably not count on that.
I dont think a seat belt ticket counts as a moving violation, which means no points taken off. Im guess thats what you mean by an "open seatbelt"?
