Got a new Zippo

    I just bought a zippo heavy wall armor case which is pretty bad ass and I hope I can one day pass it on to my nonexisting child blah blah blah...

    I understand it gives a bad taste but I found this out AFTER I bought it but that doesnt discourage me too much because I also read something about changing the insert for a butane torch flame? Are there any cheap ones because i really don't want to spend $20 more... And would it be worth it.

    Use it to light a cig, or joint. Would not recommend using a Zippo to torch a bowl. Just use a Bic.

    Ya^^ exactly! Only joints! Just go buy a bic, matches, or, if you want the best...beeline! Using a zippo for bowls is bad for these reasons:
    A) Taste bad.
    B) Will wear down flint, and wick rapidly, due to repeated lighting.

    Yeah, I used to use a zippo for bowls. Never realised that was why the hit tasted terrible until I used a normal disposable lighter.

    I only use one kind of lighter jeeps a gold one to be exact, there my absolute favorite they last quite a while im pretty sure there refillable, but there cheap enough to where I can just buy a new one.

    learn some tricks!
    I can do the one where you can open it and light it by snapping. The first 10 times i did it i ripped off my fingernail... so be careful.

    Ok, so i posted this once already in a zippo thread..... I use nothing but my zippo's for blunts and joints, they sell a insert that go's into the zippo just like the wick fluid ligher it comes with but this one is a butane jet lighter insert.

    honestly just use a 2 dollar bic... Zippos look cool, but they're really not made for smoking bowls/pipes/bongs. I don't even like zippos that much b/c the fuel dries up and runs out in like 4 days.. Although refilling isn't hard I still don't think its worth it.

    I'm not sure about this but apart from the bad taste I read somewhere that the stuff in zippos isn't good for your lungs too? It's probably not worth it..

    I love my zippo, but I use beeline for bowls. Its not hard to carry around a small piece of twine in exchange for the best lighter ever designed.
