I've been bitching on here about not having a job yet, but the winds of change worked in my favor today. Had an interview at a roofing company, went in there and got hired on the spot. 12.00/hr, union work, and time and a half after 40 hours. Not huge money, but better than anything else I could find. No drug test either, was worried about that the whole time. Point of the story: If you need work, email every ad you see in the yellow pages. You might get something back. I emailed about 50 places and they were the only ones to respond.
Hell yeah dude. Thats the same thing I did when I was looking for a job. I was like OK motherfuckers, here we go. And I called like 200 places out of the yellow pages. Next day I got hired at my job. +rep
