  1. So I have been a smoker for 4 years now and I have never had this problem, but I'm hoping someone can help me. We have a problem with our neighbors and it seems they can smell our goods in their laundry room when we run our dryer. Our laundry rooms are side by side and I'm pretty sure we share the vent outside that leads the dryers air out. We've been there since early February and we smoke every day. They complained once the weekend we moved in, and we smoked 4 blunts in a row, and then again 4 weeks later saying they could smell it in their laundry room (Our dryer was broken so it was the first weekend I ran the dryer) As of now we aren't smoking inside we are taking drives but we have 10 months left of this lease and I don't think that will last long. We are just trying to let the drama cool down. I bought 2 air purifiers and I spent a little over 300 in a total for both, and I have a Qtowner. Does anyone have anymore tips or can help me understand better how our dryer is causing this problem?

  2. Your dryer sucks in ambient air, heats it, then exhausts it out the vent. If you are smoking near it, it will suck up the smoke, heat it, then vent it out the back. Whoever is near that vent gets some good wiffs.

  3. If you are really worried about it, spray a tad bit of Ozium in the air towards the dryer with each puff. That on top of your purifiers, should cut down on the smell, but it won't get rid of it.

My advice, ditch the flowers and start dabbing. A fraction of the smell, and much more efficient. You can dab in a room, wait 10 minutes, and it smells fresh again.

  5. I would just smoke near a window and pop a window fan in and just blow my smoke out that way

  6. For weed odours I swear by ONA.

  7. What is ONA?

  8. upload_2016-3-13_4-34-18.jpeg This is Ona. Available at most Hydroponics retailers.

  9. Like Awek says, switch to dabs. Or use a vaporizer.

  10. You just leave that jar in the room and it controls the smoke odor?

  11. Only to an extent. Nothing will mask the odor of burning marijuana as it is burning. Now, if you smoke in a room with the ona gel, it will smell fresh again considerably quicker than without, but I promise you could line 10 feet of pipe with ona gel, blow your hits through it and they'd still stink on the other side.

  12. Yea, just open it when you need to get rid of the stink and close it up when you are done.

  13. Ona gel will deodorize a stinky room, it will not actively filter smoke. I guess that's what I should have said.

Ona will do nothing for the smell in your neighbors vent, only the room you smoked in, and put the gel in. And even then, it will only work after you smoke and it takes awhile. Use a fan to stir the air up, speeds up the process.

Lol, go grab some ONA, it's pretty cheap. It will at least deodorize your room after regardless (fresh smelling air is always nice). Give it a try, and you will see what I mean.

It works great for after, but nothing you can do short of a carbon filter, can stop the smell of active smoking.

To the OP: Get some ONA, and don't run your dryer until the ONA has time to work, and don't smoke while the dryer is going lol.

  17. You could always get an inline fan and carbon filter just like is used for growing. I could go inside my grow area and chain smoke joints and you wouldn't notice a thing.

Kind of a lot of effort though lol.
