  2. any led experts out there that can help me???

  3. That looks like it should work. I would throw some overcurrent protection in there as well just to be safe. Also have you connected the transformer to see if it puts out the correct voltage when configured correctly. I would recommend this to anybody using a used transformer as the windings might be opened or shorted out. Other than that I would say it should work. Personally, I would wire a disconnect somewhere in between the transformer and the led panel. You could probably wire more of the panels together if you wired them parallel off the transformer.

  4. I'm also assuming those Led panels are AC rated as I can not tell by the specs on the page. You might want to contact the company before you order. Most LED applications are powered by DC. Your current transformer is an AC transformer.

  5. thanks guys. ill keep adding info. gotta go talk to dad now. he is the electrician that got it ready for me.

  6. well dad the master electrician said that the led wont care about the ac because the diode will cut the wavelength in half. so it wont matter if its ac or dc. this transformer is rated for 30amps and 750w. should i be installing a resistor for the panels? it will take 23 of these panels to fully load the transformer. 23x28w= 644w or 30A/1.3A=23.076 etc, etc. 23panels at 1.3amps=29.9amps

  7. if i did any math wrong please correct me. been awhile since i have had to deal with 12 or 24volts
