  1. A1A6A156-8F1E-4D2A-B619-A53C3B3FE9F0.jpeg I’m growing Gorilla Glue Autos for my second grow. My first grow was mostly outside. I’m going to keep them on a 24/0 light schedule. I’m growing three plants. Two sprouted 6 days ago and one five days. I’m going to do some experimenting with comparing training methods. With one I’m only doing lst. One I’m doing lst plus topping. And one I’m going to try other things as well like supercropping and defoliation. It will be my first time doing anything other than lst.

I’m growing organically in Black Gold Organic soil with 25% perlite added. Well, that’s what they’re in now in the Solo cups. I’m going to try making my own organic soil using Coco Coir when it’s time to transplant. They’ll be going in five gallon fabric pots. For nutes I use Dr. Earth products. I’ve used that brand for everything I’m growing and I like it a lot. It’s also inexpensive.

They’re starting out in my 2x2x4 tent with two 300w full spectrum Viparspectra led lights. I have a oscillating fan. I have an intake fan and carbon filter for when they get very smelly. And I think that’s it. Doesn’t take much for the first couple of weeks.

They’re doing pretty good so far. Here’s a pic of them.

It’s so fun watching them grow! :)

  3. A3AA5900-AC17-4981-80AC-2D003C9F04E6.jpeg The little ones are still doing good. They seem to be growing faster than my last batch. They’re all starting to grow a new set of leaves just since yesterday. I think I’ll end up transplanting in about a week. Here’s a group shot. Looking at these, I think it’s tine for done water. :)

  4. I like black gold for seedlings and clones. It's a good gentle nursery potting mix. I've never used dr. earth fert. but have used their soil--which I did not have good luck with--a little too hot--but cool you have good experience with their fert.

Experimenting is fun--and good. Best way to know if something works or not works for you.

  6. Really I’m growing mostly for fun. Well and good weed and I know it’s all organic with a good drying and curing. But it fills me with happy watching their growth and development. :)

  7. Yeah, it seems like it’s been a long time since I’ve had anything growing but it’s only been a little over a month. I can see the value of perpetual grows. Plus all the stuff I bought to grow weed doesn’t go to waste. :)

  8. Thank you! I’m glad to be growing again. I’m glad it’s inside. It’s been raining so much that I’m having powdery mold issues on a lot of my outdoor plants, especially my tomatoes.

It won’t be long before I’ll need to transplant. I don’t want to wait too long because I think it they will need a little time to adjust to their new home before doing any hst. They’re 7 and 8 days old now. The 7 day old is so much bigger than the other two and faster growing. I’m excited to see what she gives me. Because she’s off to a really good start. The other two are also looking good. You can’t even tell any of them were runty.

There was some drooping this morning and I figured they were underwatered because I knew it wasn’t overwatering. They’ve already perked back up and are looking green and happy. I probably won’t keep putting up pics every single day but here’s pics from today.

I don’t know what’s up with my big plant. It’s a day younger and is so much bigger than the other two. I think she looks like it’s time to transplant but I want to transplant them all together. I decided with the big one I’m only doing lst. I want to give her the full potential without risking stress.

My big girls leaves are curling up. I think because of the heat. We’re having record high temps and the tent is getting quite warm during the day. I think I’m going to put them on 20/4 light schedule so lights can be off during the hottest part of the day. I haven’t hooked up any ventilation yet but tomorrow I’m transplanting the lovely ladies into five gallons fabric pots. Only the big one seems to be having the curling leaves, but she has more surface area to get hot. I’m going to go ahead and set up my bigger tent once I transplant and then I’ll set up my exhaust fan. That’ll probably help a lot with the heat as well.

Or set up my bigger tent. But I’m going to later today. This is day 12 and 13. Before transplant. I think it will be pretty easy to transplant because there’s enough roots to hold it together but They don’t look root bound. Anyway, they’re still looking good. The one whose leaves had a little curling is much better. I am including side shots that kind of show the nodes. I do know I’ll be starting lst really soon.

  15. And that make it all worth it right there. Very therapeutic for sure.

  16. I’m also hoping to get a better end result. I think because of temps in the 90’s every day caused my last grow to have buds that are like the hard dense bugs I get from the dispensary. I’ve learned so much and now having control over their environment I think I’ll have really good results. I don’t have to worry about bugs, excessively high temps and rainy season. I was going to do a 24/0 light schedule but I decided to do 20/4 with the dark period at the hottest part of the day.

  17. Finally transplanted my little ladies. I don’t know why but I often end up planting things in a lopsided manner. Hopefully they’ll have only good reactions to the transplanting. :)

Day 13 and 14. I think their growth seems to be good for two weeks. And they’re still healthy. Probably really happy to be out of that tiny little cup. :)

  19. Day 15 and 16. They still seem to be doing good. Not sure if the lime green center is just new growth color or if there's an issue. All the nodes are hiding from me. So I'm going to let another leaf set grow before I top or start lst. I think.
