Putting a plan together for an outside grow in Northern California I want to do something around 500 ladies from clone started inside to about a foot. I need to keep it low key and not noticeable from the sky as well as safe from pests. I have almost 5 miles of total space and can plant 1 plant every 10-30 feet if needed. I am confident in my ability to grow the plant just need tips on how to hide it and keep pest free (and organic if possible.) Any tips would be a great help. Thanks!
only thing i can sugest is plant along tree lines, dont plant in obvious human patterns such as rows, and maybe get a bunch of dog and human hair and throw that around to scare off the mamilian pests. rest will be luck
Plant em close together and in an irregular patern so they don't look like mj plants from the air.Multiple patches of course for 500 plants. Everybody spaces them out and have nice big christmas trees that stick out. So thats what they're looking for. Just my 2 cents.I've never planted 500 before.
yea got a few tips from some humboldt locals that will really help.. 500 is alot of plants but split up with my partner and the chore is not too big.. best tip so far is tying them down branch by branch every 6 inches of growth and a complete horizontal tie down to disfigure the look of the plant
Even for 2 people it's a lot of work lol... And yeah that technique is similar to LSTing I guess but you're gonna have to do it for 250 plants a piece, every branch and at very close times as yeah the plants will be growing in the same time frame.
