  2. So are we going to have a Census Czar?

Or is he just going to hire ACORN to organize it?

  3. Rahm Emanuel........

  4. While I don't particularly like chaffetz from Utah, he is right here, this is a terrible idea. Have the same guy who wanted to reinstate the draft run the census, while leaving other fuckups in the soon forseable future with the same power. Thanks but no thanks.

  5. sorry but what is Census?

In the constitution it says every 10 years you must have a count of all the people in the US.

The United States Census is a decennial census mandated by the United States Constitution.[1] The population is enumerated every 10 years and the results are used to allocate Congressional seats (congressional apportionment), electoral votes, and government program funding.[2]

So usually this is done by the Census bureau. Now it is taken over by the White House so basically if crafty enough they can gerrymander congressional districts to Obama's favor. Also it effects the Electoral college and how many electoral votes a state gets.

    It has become politicized now.

"I've always remembered what Joseph Stalin said: 'Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.' The same principle applies to the census. Since one or the other party will always be in power at the time of the census, it is vital that the out-of-power party at least be able to observe the process to make sure it isn't being stacked in favor of the party in power. This will be difficult for the GOP since I suspect Democrats will control both houses of Congress for the entire Obama first term,"

  7. well that sounds bad!

  8. Hmmmmmmmm...

  9. That's why I brought up about Rahm and the draft, why would the secretary of state be taking this census. What would he truly benifit serving the president, looking over a task like this.

Then you take into account he very publicly wants to bring back the draft,

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtDSwyCPEsQ"]YouTube - Obama's Plan for The Draft- MANDATORY SERVICE everyone 18-25[/ame]

This guy was the main reason I question my vote for Obama, he is ideas are right up there with fascism. This national compulsory service is not American, and does exactly the opposite it strives to make.

History will show you that a draft makes people anti-whatever they were made to do, more so than if they had volunteered for it. You see that with vietnam Vs. WWII and so on.

  10. so wait, you're telling me that we might head to fascism. (well we been headin to fasicsm for long time)
    Obama is really fasicst?!

  11. You need to throw out this misconception that fascism, socialism or communism equals evil. That is the biggest problem Americans can't seem to grasp, but that being said I said that in a negative connotation because the founders did not want us to be under fascism. They did not want us to be under fascism because it is terrible, but because it is a catalyst for terrible decisions. The problem with a fascist society is the non-voting principle, sure you get a bunch of good leaders who treat you well but then a Caesar comes along and enslaves you. That is the problem with Fascism.

We don't live in a fully free democratic society, and that is not what the founders wanted. We serve under a Despotism. In that since we are much like Fascism, but we elect our dictators. In a true fascist society the leaders are not elected, that is the only thing setting us apart from the two.

Furthermore many countries actually were run very well under fascist societies, and the people loved there dictators. They were actually better of with a single authority than otherwise. You see this in many South American countries.

I would rather Congress have the power of census, because if they are found to be using it for there own gain, I can punish them a lot easier than a Rahm Emanuel. They have to worry about re-election, and how happy there district is. If Rahm does something to undermine me, all I can do is not vote for Obama, and in a general election 1 vote never decides shit. It never will and it never has.

  12. This is for one purpose and one purpose only: redistricting. Rahm wants to do the census because he believes in "estimating" the census in dense population areas instead of actually counting them. When that happens, and the "estimations" are on the high side, they get to redraw the district maps. When that happens, you get dems in control forever. Emanual is a crooked bastard. He's going to make Karl Rove look like a boyscout.

I never said it was evil. I know every societies or party system (whatever they called it for groups of facist, communist, anarcy, liberty) has flaws.

OT: Being free is how people can become corruption in any societies.

  14. That's funny I thought we had a thing called checks and balances......no?

  15. We used too, back when the federal government used to pay attention to that little annoying piece of paper called the constitution. Now they do what ever they want and could give a damn. Go read the 9th and 10th amendment, and see how many federal programs and laws you can think of that violate those.

Yeah I realize that. There are still checks and balances though. The President still has to get all his legislative stuff through Congress, the Supreme Court can still call things unconstitutional, etc. The President is not a dictator or anything like it. The system is still in place but I agree it has changed dramatically.

  17. This is the same as the porkulus bill. They are going to make citizens of all the illegals as well and make it impossible for a conservative republican to ever be elected again.
