OP: 1, brother: 0 Yeah dude good trade, you got an upgraded phone (probably not too worried about having the best if you've been sticking with a POS) and a fatty eighth. Hopefully your life will be more enriched by this than a new phone, and from experience, a nice newer phone enriches your life in only pretty shallow ways.

While he has a brand new smart phone that will last him for the 2 year contract, you are stuck with 4 grams that won't last longer than 2 weeks and a shit phone for 2 years. Damn son, should have got your upgrade, got a nice smartphone and sold it in the box. When I decided I didn't want my iPhone 4, I smashed it, got a new one sealed in the box from insurance, and sold that shit for hundreds
