Ok so my baby is about 10 inches. I have had it in veg for 3 weeks, when would you say is a good time to start the flowering stage? I am not looking to harvest pounds of weed, but would like a decent amount for personal use. Also, my electric bill went up $50 compared to my last month when I wasn't growing. Any tips. I am using CFLs.
A good way to judge is to flower at half the plants desired hight just throwing it out there man good luck on your grow TiG
Obviously you want a decent yield but 3 weeks will be enough, that's normally what i'll roll on a sativa and then 5 weeks on a indica due to shorter plants. Personally, it depends on your tent or grow area. If you have the height, allow them to go whenever you want, but keep in mind: indicas will double their size normally, while sativas will triple in size normally. Also, they SHOULD stop or atleast slow down in vertical growth around the 4th week of flowering based on my experience.
