Hey guys n gals. Rn I'm in the middle of growing my first plant, an auto called Dulce De Leche(by VIP seeds) and it's going good so far bout a week into flowering with minimal problems, I experienced signs of nute burn about a week ago(think it's under control now) and slight overwatering just yesterday. My next grow will be a few photos called Violeta by ACE seeds in a SCRoG(planning on doing a journal as I have lots of seeds for this and would like to keep notes and I haven't seen any other journals for it) and after that grow I'll be doing Currant Kush by VIP seeds My question for you all today is what has been your most potent grow? Highest yield? Most unique smell/taste? Any recommendations for future grows?
White widow......strong as all hell, wierd feelibg for me. Black jack.......excellent size smell and yield. Smoke is smooth with 3 week cure. Black DOG.....smaller plant, smooth buzz. Turns purple. Not as strong as black jack. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Do you know what breeder the White Widow was by? I already knew white widow was potent asf so I was hoping someone would mention a good breeder to order some beans from
If you want a hardy auto that produces a good yield with good quality I have to reccomend grizzly purple by blimburn seeds. I've yielded 3oz in 80 days off my last plant. I've also had good luck with deep blue c by mephisto. Haven't harvested that strain yet but I have 2 going now that are set to be done in 1-2 weeks, the buds looks great. First photo is the grizzly purple, next two are or deep blue c
Those look nice, I was honestly planning on doing photos from now on cause I'm looking for large yields in a semi small space. But I do wanna try some more autos cause this thing grew fast
You will enjoy the Currant Kush, it grows insanely, I just did one last cycle and just let her veg for 7 weeks, weeks 1-3, 1 quart pot, day 21, went to 1.5 gal, she stayed in that till day 46, then she went into 7 gallon pot, and was left in the dark for 3 days, then I kicked her into flower after cutting of the lowest nodes for two clones. She finished out in 100 days and gave 13 1/2 zips, with just one topping, I was lazy, lol! She is really great for medicine, and has a great THC level, my lab results came in @ 25%. The only problem I have with Currant Kush, is that I don't believe she just has roots with Afghan Kush x Mexican x Colombia because somewhere down the line Grapefruit Kush has to be in there somewhere. Now I say that because everyone I know swears that she tastes more like Grapefruit Kush than anything else. But like I said you will enjoy growing her as she is very easy to grow, As a side note... I really enjoyed some of the fan leafs she grew, some of them were like huge banana leafs, measuring 12" to 14", which to me was totally insane!
Shit that got me excited to grow it, maybe I'll grow that before the Violeta. Was it purple when you grew it or will I have to adjust temps?
Hi I'm sorry to say this, but Currant Kush doesn't throw any purple out, but it does throw out a lot of sugar. Honestly, each bud looks like it was dunked in liquid sugar. Please don't ever pay attention to pictures that don't show you the plant or bud using regular light because most times these days people think its cool to show their plants under led(s) which might make them look cool, but it's never a true representation of what the plant really looks like. In other words... shame on VIP Seeds for misleading so many people, now just so you know, I only say that because I have heard many people think that the Currant Kush plant will throw-out all kinds of crazy purple shading, when that's simply isn't true! Anyhow... if you want to grow something that truly is purpl-ie than look at something like Pakistan Chitral Kush, but I wouldn't recommend it cause I have grown it (3) times and could never get better than 18% THC. Yes, it does yield pretty good, but the THC levels I have gotten have never been near the 21%-23% it's supposed to throw-out. But if you do like the taste of Hash, it does have a wonderful Hash-ey taste.
Bummer I was hoping it'd be purple, one of the reasons i got it was cause it had a beautiful purple color to it in the pictures I saw. Oh well color doesn't matter too much cause I know the Violeta is usually purple with a few phenos that are green and in the end it's all about how potent it is in my eyes
