  1. Table rock mountain Western North Carolina. Doesnt get any better than the carolina appalachians.

  2. ^^^ While they are still there you mean :(

  3. Minnesota/Wisconsin's awesomeness makes up for it being near Iowa/Illinois/NoDak/SoDak

  4. I was looking around on google maps and the area looked really flat, with cornfields and other crops everywhere, doesnt look exciting...

  5. Russian river valley in Sonoma County, Calif. The local mountains have redwoods growing in them. And there is a kickass dispensary in Rio Nido.

Sonoma county was voted as "The happiest place in all of California" and i'll have to agree. Low crime, Lots of laid back wine drinkers and stoners.

  6. I say we sell everything south of San Luis Obispo back to the Mexicans for billions to take care of our state deficit. Might as well, they took over that area anyway. Might as well be Mexico. But if I know this state legislature, We would allow Mexico to make payments, and they never will.

  7. Finding work in california is as easy as finding weed here. My buddy just moved back here, got a job in three days now hes looking for a second one. I already have a job and I just got offered to work in a body shop and i wasnt even looking for an other job. If you dont have a job around here its because your to damn lazy to go find one. Shit i met this guy a couple days ago who grows pot for a living and he dropped $75000 on a sail boat.

  8. Nearly anywhere in the great green state of Vermont :)

  9. you should let the 1.9 million unemployed folks in your state know how easy it is to get a job in your state then

  11. Damn that looks amazing, but I would probably have to change my mind again after this years elections.

  12. I just moved back to the US after living in Australia for a year...let me tell you right now man, I know they say the grass is greener on the other side...but the reality is the grass is greenest in Australia

you make such shit money in america...our dollar is worth less....you don't get paid more for working on the weekend...ect

For example I worked for toys R us in america and in australia

In amercia i started at the job making 8.00/hr and after 6 months i got the highest raise possible....0.27 cents hahahaha

In Cairns I started out makeing 17.77 au/hr and then got paid 27.47 au/hr when I would work on the weekends...the job pace was so much slower, the customers were so much nicer and once again the AU dollar was worth more...not to even mention superannunation

I'm just curious what type of visa are you on? is it a job transfer that got you the visa?

I'm sure you have your mind set so what i said dosn't matter or you already knew about it...so in that case I'm gonna throw out another vote for Austin,Tx

Live music capital of the world...home of F1 in America...great downtown scene...wonderful scenery thanks to it being located in the texas hill country...lots of lakes....the list goes on and on

what part of Oz are you from?

  13. Jumping in late with a vote for Austin TX. But all the people here are going to mess it up eventually.

  14. anyone know what Humboldt countys like(like arcata, fortuna, eureka)
Is it easy to get from point a to b,blah blah

I live in what's considered the Bay Area. I personally don't care for it here but that's because I've grown up here. It's extremely expensive but the farther north you go, the nicer it is. Weather kind of sucks in the Bay Area too.

Some cool cities in the bay area are alameda, emeryville, berkeley. Should definitely check them out if youre looking for a nice city. I was born and raised in east oakland, and i wouldnt recommend moving here. Pretty boring/really ghetto/dangerous

  18. sounds good, is emery chill? im mainly looking for a city with easy transit to SF and the city i live in to have a little night life

  19. OP, I honestly think this is a no brainer. Colorado all the fucking way

Yeah emeryville is pretty chill. berkeley and emeryville are like two small towns connected to each other

And theres a bart station in berkeley and one in north oakland, both fairly close to emeryville. So getting to sf would be pretty easy
