Well since most of the west coast seems to be losing a grip on their legalization.. Seems like it may not be that great.. Where I live.. MJ is decriminalized to 42.5g.. meaning.. if i have 42g of ganja on me.. im looking at a maximum $200 fine.. with no jail time... but I guess first I'd have to be arrested for such crimes... and well they haven't decided to hassle me yet Plus don't ya know... California is gonna fall into the ocean Oh yeah.. and almost 2,000,000 unemployed folks.. and more debt than any other state in the US.. State of California Debt Clock I'm sure you're under the impression though that the streets there are paved with gold and boulevards are lined with fat colas instead of palm trees
No I only thought los angeles and maybe san fran. were fucked, not the whole state. Ok. Since you know your shit. I want medical/weed is unbelievably easy to get Forests Young people (im 20) And a good job market. Because I only have 15k saved up and I want to get a job pretty much immediately.
Washington is the best PERIOD! Put into count of living cost...and having a state that can provide for itself ie(beef, water, fruit, lumber,) Honestly, you can't find a better place.
wait denver is like a desert?? wtf i thought they had dank shit. I live in ND and its fucking sucks i hate the scenery ( lack of) and the ppl are so uptight
When are you thinking of moving to the states and how hard do you wanna work? north dakota is booming with jobs thanks to the whole frac oil shit... a person can easily get a $50-75k a year job out there right now.. back when i lived in NoDak though the weed situation wasn't all that great.. but i didn't know anyone.. and it was over a decade ago.. If things go the way they probably will.. within 3 years.. Minnesota may be the next boom... Northern Minnesota has the worlds biggest reserve of precious metals on earth.. Trillions of dollars worth of gold, silver, platinum. and other precious metals.. not to mention an already big iron mining industry... and these mining companies want to dig.. and it will happen eventually... plus the unemployment rate in Minnesota is like 6%.... the area i live in is surrounded by over 1,000,000 sq acres of state forest land.. northern Minnesota is home to a national forest and the BWCA(Boundary Waters Canoe Area).. winters are harsh.. summers are brutal.. and everyone is fucking insane because of it.. so we smoke lots of good weed to make everything better Colorado is also full of these oil jobs too... ganja is amazing and it's a med state.. with Denver having a "legal" personal possession amount... i hear good things about CO.. and wouldn't mind moving out there one day and see what its all about.. obviously plenty of forest and you get the rocky mountains...
I'm only willing to work hard if I make more then 50k. Then I'll be able to have a good house. I'm really keen on mining jobs as well. In America do you have to get a degree to work in the mines?
Think I'm set on Eugene Oregon, or Portland, I don't know yet. I just love all the pine trees and all the hills.
I don't believe you need any degrees to get these mining jobs.. or at least the lower end... if you go into the mining or oil industry.. you will make at least 50k a year.. no doubt about that.. i have a buddy who works up in Prudhoe Bay, AK.. works 2 weeks.. flies back to minnesota and hangs for 2 weeks... heads back to AK for 2 weeks.. back to minnesota for 2 weeks.. he makes serious bank.. obviously.. if he can afford to take a plane back and forth to minnesota every 2 weeks
Yeah thats gay. In Australia, the company pay for everything flights, food, accommodation, some times bills at home. And you get minimal 80k a year, no experience required. Obviously thats amazing. So every man and his dog try to get in. You pretty much have to have a family member working in the mines, just to get an interview But I've been looking at cheap houses in Oregon, theres so many, mobile/trailer park things. For like 7k.....and all the bills combined are $50 with mortgage and shit.....its so crazy.... But do you think you could smoke inside of one?
nah.. it's more like the gold rush.. everyone is running out there to get jobs.. and it seems there are plenty of them... people leaving everything behind and moving out to these mining jobs.. $7k trailer.. ha.. if you idolize Trailer Park Boys.. then I guess a $7K trailer is right for you haha
Sick, I'll look into thanks. I'm moving to a country I don't know much about the economy. Or Oregon in general. So I'm just testing it out to see if I like it. I don't have much saved up as well. And I'm not planning to stay in it long. I will most likely rent it. Its all I need until I get settled in.
If you're concerned about being having a decent shot at landing a job that offers a livable wage, Oregon is probably not going to be your best shot. But of course that also depends on your field of work.
