It's a fact... millions of people around the world like to use the word SHIT! :D
Whether you say it or you think it, a little shit is always near by. Often referring to something rather fashionable, good, popular, or a really shocking moment... like when a parachute doesn't open while skydiving... "oh shit!"... not to be confused with the "actual" shit in your pants, when said parachute doesn't open!

So what kind of good, cool, unique or craZy shit do you own, see in your city, or just randomly have going on in your world? That perhaps the rest of the us should know about, or maybe... we shouldnt know about...lol. It's up to you! Have fun!!

Thanks & all are welcome here!

    I'll start:

My wife is a professional artist... which happens to be some cool shit! Wanna' see some of her work??

  5. Hey GTG....

That does look like great shit, lol.I'm going out in a few mins this morning to grab as many materials as I can for my soil... I've printed your list, hopefully I get everything needed... I was considering a compost barrel... What's your experience on that? Worth it or no? I'm switching to a 20/4 light cycle this week... I'm understanding 3 weeks... If I mix regularly.... Will be enough time? Anyway.... The Living soils sounds like remarkable if done right, which I intend on... Thanks bud!

To be honest, I don't know much about compost barrels, only compost piles.  I think my issue with it would be.... they just don't seem big enough lol.  I think once I have a nice big yard, I'll make 3 compost piles in different stages of decomposition.  Each year, I'll harvest one pile, and start the next.

The barrel looks like it could be really good for mixing large batches of soil up..... I dunno.  You might want to look into Bokashi.... it's a way to ferment food scraps instead of composting them.... once they are fermented, the breakdown process has started enough to put the food scraps straight into the soil.  The whole process takes about 5-7 weeks instead of 1 year + for a compost pile.  It can be done in a 5 gallon bucket under your sink, as there is no offensive odor.  Check out Bryan McGrath's YouTube channel.....

So with cycling the living soil..... for planting seeds, I'd say 4 weeks is the bare minimum..... 8 weeks is much better.  But your plants are already established..... in 3 weeks they'll be what... almost 2 months old?  They will be ready to go into the soil, even though it's not entirely cycled.  What you might do is go a little light on the high-nitrogen amendments this go round.... that way it won't need so much cycling.  And since your plants will be about ready for flower, they won't need as much nitrogen anyway.  Then after this grow, if you choose to re-use this soil, you can just add in some extra nitrogen and let it cycle a bit more.
