Just wondering if what I'm doing is right or wrong. Instead of letting the drainage drain I collect it in a bowl and let it get soaked up and/or evaporate under the lights. Good or bad idea? Basically a casarole dish under my plants pot. Thanks in advance. Nate dizz Sent from my LT30at using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Too much moisture around your plants roots can rot the roots and produce anaerobic conditions. Soil mediums, whatever they might be should drain well. Oxygen is important for healthy roots; lack of oxygen will impede root (and therefore plant) growth. Long story short, I'd remove it. j
