Good news at the cardiologists, then good karma

  1. so today i missed all of my classes at my college because i had to see the cardiologist. i have/had a slight irrithmia, so every year i have to go back and see them. it was getting worse, but today the dr said he couldnt hear any irregular heartbeats! so they wired me up with a heartrate monitor that records heartbeats for 24 hrs. i then caught the bus to the other side of the city to buy my dads christmas presents (slotted spoons and spatulas ftw). as i was walking back downtown, a distance of about 3 miles (i would have taken the bus, but it wasnt going for to come again for a hour, fuck that shit). on the way, i found some random guy's bank card. it wasnt one of those that you get in the mail, it was actually activated and shit. so on the way back, there was a Wachovia bank, and it was a Wachovia card, so i stopped by the bank and dropped off the card. that dude's gonna have a better day now :hello:. i kept walking and i saw a branch in the road that was fucking up the undersides of cars that kept going over it, i could hear it scratching and shit. so i went over to it and put it off to the side of the road. anyway, today was a good day :). i got good news at the dr's, and got good karma for my good deeds. now maybe the gods of niceness can send some kush my way

  2. Hell yeah keep spreading the good vibes bro!

  3. For a second I thought this story was going to turn into a shopping spree with the lost Credit card but it turned out to be a story on good deeds. FTW!

  4. You should take that good karma down to the lake. Catch a nice big fish. Fish spaghetti is magical BTW. Literally, it's magical.

  5. Same here. I got really excited

  6. If it was one of those pre-paid debit cards you should have kept it.

  7. what? no man, that's fucked up. i wouldn't steal money from his wallet, so i wouldn't use a prepaid card.

  8. Question: Does your heart beat alot faster then normal then normal?
Because I have a slight irrithmia and my heart races (I forgot the real name of it), only once and a while not bad, and my heart also races really fast

  9. my heart usually is normal heart rate, for being out of shape. now that i think about it, sometimes my heart races for no reason. it usually happens when i'm asleep, like i'll wake up and feel it. the last time i remember it happening was when i went to sleep around 12 one night and i woke up and i was really scared, and my heart was racing. i wasnt having a scary dream or anything though. it was weird. how often does your heart have the irregular beats? do you feel it when it happens? when mine happen i dont even know it, but my grandma has the same problem, and she really feels it.

  10. I feel them really bad. They kind of hurts sometimes. It feels like my heart just jumped from my chest. It got bad at about 13-14 years old, but now I get them maybe once a month if that. Sometimes I do get scared too, and its always been during the day not at night. My heart always races super fast when I smoke though, I can feel it skip a beat or something weird going on in there

  11. It feels good doing good. +rep

  12. hahah so did I my eyes lit up with "noooo"
    then yay:hello:

  13. yeah, my heart gets faster when i smoke too. it's a side effect of being high, but i also think its because i'm afraid of getting caught. that sucks that you feel them really bad, i guess im pretty lucky for not noticing mine. back when i first got them the doctor said that when my heart rate went up they went away. what did your dr say?

yeah, it does feel good doing good :smoke:

  14. Good stuff. What kind of arrhythmia did you have? I've worked in a cardiac-electrophysiology clinic for a few years.

  15. i'm not really sure. i'm not even sure that i've seen the same doctor from one visit to another. like, when i went there yesterday, i saw some random black guy as my doctor. he acted like he knew me, so i just kinda went along with it. i'll have to try and find out what kind of arrhythmia i had.
