Hello. I was wondering if there is a method to transplant from a 1 gallon smart pot to a 7 gallon without ruining the roots? Since the roots grow into the pots trying to transplant could be very difficult I would think. Any thoughts?
Is it safe to place two females in a single big pot? They would compete for space but would that kill one or the other?
most of us are about over using small smart pots for the reason you state, tears up the roots when you transplant. That's not all bad, we all could use a little root pruning. Some use airpots which can just be opened. Otherwise, square pots seem to empty out better with less root damage. I'll let you know about the two plants in one pot. Tomorrow I plan to plant 4 fem seeds in one 15 airpot.
I have 2 gals in a 2 g pot 3 weeks from chop.....growing like a champ....i cant say every strain would like it but it works
