good idea, bad idea

    so is using a rooting gel (cloning gel) during germ a good idea or bad idea? lol my local shop hooked me up with a free thing of dutch master gold range replicator gel, .01-.008-.02 would this help with the initial rooting?

    idk but.....I topped my plant once and I put rooting gel on 1/2 the wounds and nothing on the other 1/2........well the branches that got the jell took way more time to recover some never did . the plane ones split into two like they was supposed to.

    huh, good to know, i didnt do it but i got the gel for free so i was wondering if it would work lol

    Maybe dilute it first, the gel is made for an established off-shoot, not a 1 day old taproot.

    don't do it. that might just kill the little gal. you should not use fert. or rooting hormone on seeds they are too sensitive.

    thats what i thought, i didnt do it i just was wondering thanks for the responses. is the cloning gel i got anything decent?

    .01 .008 .02
    cut stem gel
