Good friends with your dealer?

    Hey, until recently I've always "gone in" with an old friend of mine for the past year and a half now. We started smoking schwagg, but quickly moved to so cali chronic.

    Well now my friend has told me he's quitting cold turkey in three weeks from now(we both graduate from college then).

    I didn't believe him cuz he does this whole "i'm quitting weed" bullshit every six months or so and then starts it up, but then he hands me his dealer's number and says "i already called ahead and told him a friend would be buying stead of me from now on, he says it's cool!"

    Now, I know my friend wouldn't usually hand me the dealer's number cuz the one time I asked before he said that it was hard introducing new people sometimes cuz there's always a small chance of narcing and whatnot. I trusted him cuz the amounts he handed me always added up to the standard street prices in my area (which are expensive 50 an eighth of chronic/dank).

    I feel kinda weird for more than one reason. For one, I'm kinda happy cuz my friend says his dealers can deal me shrooms too. So I've got a supply line that I can rely on more or less because he never seems to be dry. The chronic he deals in is very high quality, not the best and he only knows the strain names some of the time, but it's always uncompressed, dense, crystally, kief producing, seedless marijuana that gets me pretty fucked in one or two bowls. Supposedly he's feeding off the "surplus" of a medical card grower. I can't say for sure, cuz I trust my eyes more than my words, but it doesn't matter, the weed is very decent, so I don't care so much where it comes from.

    On the other hand, my friend quitting makes me sad because some of my fondest memories include when we were stoned. We had some good sober moments, too, don't get me wrong. But marijuana was kinda how we met and became friends at first, so it's strange to think that that element of my life that I became so accustomed to might not exist in the near future.

    Ah well, I guess I'm just sentimental . . .:bongin:

    Anywho, any of you guys good friends with your dealer/supplier?

    Yeah, i met my dealer at work, so we became pretty good buddies, i started "giving" weed away for him..

    He gives me good deals n always hooks me up with dank!

    One of my dealers I went to school with from kindergarden until senior year of high school. He normally only sells dirt, but occasionally gets some alright buds. Normally, i buy off my roomates buddies here at school, occasionally i make the trip to kentucky to get some buds from Nush's dealers

    i smoke blunts with my dealer all the time.. hes a cool guy and hooks me up so i cant complain :hello:

    ive been best friends with a dealer, good friends with a dealer, been the dealer, and not so good friends with a dealer
    so i guess i covered it all

    My dealer(s) are all usually my friends, I hang with them a lot and its pretty cool.

    My dealers are very cool with me.

    I know their mothers and shit, we're all one big happy family of tokers.:p

    I have about 4 different people i buy off of, 2 of them are good friends of mine who have become dealers, the third i went to highschool with and the 4th i pick up off of the most, and he has the best stuff, i didnt normally smoke with him but he started dating a friend of mine so now i do.
    So basically everyone i pick up off of i end up smoking and chilling with.
    It nice though because i never have to go out of my way to go pick up weed, i usually just wait untill im hanging out with one of my friends who deals, we smoke and if i like the weed ill buy a quarter or something

    I had this one really cool guy I met in High School last year, he sold me his really nice glass spoon when he had to quit. Then this year, he started dealing. Its always sweet to have known your dealer before they started dealing. He always had some and was easy to get a hold of, he would either drive to my place or meet me halfway. Then one day we met up and I was picking up a half, I hopped in his car ready to get some green, but he couldnt find it. Thats right, he couldnt find his QP. It was supposed to be chilling in the backseat, but we tore the whole car up and couldnt find it. He called a few people who he chilled with earlier, but no luck. A few days later he found out a 14 year old kid down the road stole it out of his car. He walks down to his house and says something along the lines of "Give me my weed motherfucker" The kid freaks and yells for his older brother, who comes to the door and pulls a gun on TheDealer. He quit dealing after that. He just moved away a few weeks ago, but before he went he smoked me and a few other people out.

    I am decent friends with all my dealers. All but one i have known for over 4 years now.

    Most dealers i've known are from the university. so they move on pretty regular. i'd say we were friendly, wouldnt' say we were friends tho. On the lookout again tho, end of semester coming and the 2 i know aren't passing anything along, so it may be dry city coming :)

    that sucks, yeh most dealers seem to quit once they graduate college I've noticed, probably cuz they have other plans that don't necessarily include selling marijuana.

    it'd be infintely awesome if you could elaborate on that a bit. I'm interested.
