    Whats with the strange looking ballast?

    I guess thats what the seller considered to bulky for him. This is my first ballast so I didnt know what to expect. Its got a ten foot cord so I can leave the ballast low.

    That looks like a pretty sweet deal to me. Shit I would've bought it . Even though I have a 1000watt switchable being shipped.

    dude i got the same ballast (or something that looks nearly identical, except that it's 250w) and yes it looks a little clunky. i bought it on ebay too from the original seller. despite the cheaper price and 'funny looks', i've got two grows with it and it has worked great so far. from my experience, definitely worth buying. this is the weed i've grown with it:
