well aside from it being my first day of classes (which i know most people dread but i always get kind of excited...its all the other days that i hate)...i may have just landed a 3-night per week gig at $250 per person in the band!....my drummer has mad connections and he hooked it up so now we just need 5 originals and 5 covers....good shiiit for those of you wondering, the band it a mix of jazz, funk, and rock...we got a new singer recently, female, who is trained in jazz vocals and stuff so it should be interesting i'm real excited..and i need the cash well just thought i'd share...peace
congrats! Got any music recorded yet? You should make a song dedicated to Marijuana, but dont make it obvious. Make it to were people can evaluate it themselves and give it the meaning they think it means, but have the real reason be about smokin pot. Kinda like Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is about LSD, but theres other theories of whjat its about and shit. Yadadamean?
