Are you aware that while the face of Saddam's statue was being smashed with a sledge hammer, only 11 people right around the statue were Iraqi? The rest were journalists. I was glad to see them take the flag off the face before they pulled it down. That would not have played well on Arab TV. Now is probably the most dangerous time of all. Tribal societies almost always have civil wars when a supreme power is removed. The U.S. just went from soldiers, to policemen.
Well I tjink tjings worked out great, I've seen pictures from iraq and the people look happy and that's great, ofcourse there's the propaganda alarm bell ringing and worry of what will happen in the near future if Bush get's his way of putting an US based goverment out there. But I'm happy as long as the people lare happy and get justice.
