Mixing up a "heat wave tea" 1 cup kelp meal, 2 cups alfalfa meal, 4 cups EWC, 1/2 cup dr earth's "natural wonder" 7-2-1 blend and 5 tbsp molasses to 7 gallons water.
I've given this exact tea, actually had a whole cup of natural wonder in it, they took it like what. This tea is also diluted farther at watering, like 1 1/2 gallon tea to 3 1/2 gallons water so it's not as hot as it seems. There so big and strong and healthy, I bet I could use the tea straight and not burn em. I don't have any, I have some DE, can I use diaot. earth in a tea as a silica supplement?
Dio would be better off in the soil already but wouldnt hurt to topdress with it. I gave fish, seaweed, and mycos plus protekt to all my farm plants yesterday. They ar kickin ass out there now.
Ok gotcha. Once you dilute it that comes out pretty close to the strength of my recipes. I've been using 3 cups of kelp, molasses and silica for about 20 gallons of water then top dressing with the dregs. The plant that got the most topdressing looks like she wished I shared more with her friends, lol. Just a few burnt tips. Now I know her limits. The cookies and sour strawberry seem unburnable. I love dark green bad bitches like them.
Haha it IS in my soil AND I have top dressed with DE twice already so ill just call that good. I know the cookies and sour s are whores, the branches are so strong and thick you have to really apply some force to bend her branches a round. Ya I have to make teas like that as 7 gallons is as much as I can do at a time. No big deal tho. We work with what we got.
Gonna need to keep a close eye on the plants for the next week while we have this heat wave. I might have to add a moring or mid day watering to my nighly watering/check. It's exciting watching the plants grow. I enjoy seeing it grown using different training of the strains. Experimenting with LST and staking all the branches to the ground. I'm hoping it works out the way I'm expecting. I'm starting to worry that be the grows end the plants will be taller than my fence. I might have to somehow block the view from the street. It's only 10 ft I need to block anything ove 6 ft tall. Maybe I'll get some reed fence and attach to the top of my fence. Lattice is also an option but reed might be the way to go. I will be bending where possible. Some are limited due to cages.
So KI, tell me a little about your garden, are your plants in ground, Raised beds or smart pots? How many you running?
Outside I'm running running 12 plants total. 9 are mine/girls and 3 belong to my adult son. I have 2 Mk ultra that I cloned from a seed, cheese from my clone, 2 sour d from my clone, from seed are la woman, mango, Skywalker, Cali connect GSC from Mike thric. My sons are granddaddy blueberry kush and goo cheese both came from a club clone and NLXBB from fem seed I breed.all plants are in the ground with a homemade soil mix. Yard was tilled and 3x3 holes where dug. The complete garden was rotor tilled and amended. Most where started back in Apr indoors. I lack the amount of sun I wish I could get but plants are doing well. Tallest is 3 ft tall and about the same width. I'm finding that I have too many and a few might grow into each other. I have two plants caged so far and will cage a few more with the wire fence I have. A few other plants are in tomato cages. I have LST my sons goo cheese. It's laying straight an inch off on the ground This years garden is bigger and has more plants than last years. I can wait to see where it goes.
Inside I just restarted a few weeks ago. All are from seeds. BC bud depot GSC, Dr Underground painkiller, liberty haze, holy grail kush and herjuana jack 33. My son has a clone of cotton candy kush I think that's what it is. They are in 3 gallon GeoPots. The soil is my homemade mixture that I amend every cycle. It started as happy frog but has had a lot of different amendments over time. Nothing beats a living soil.
Nice set up KI, nice to see another area guy plant in ground, it's the shit, your down in the valley aren't ya? Like Fairfield right?. Sounds like an exotic line up. Feel free to post pics up here if you want. Good luck to ya!
Drew you better be coming up today, I'm trying to save the last of my light dep sour s to smoke with you. And I could use a hand putting up the cage/ horti-trellis
Ok 9 days later, all plants got a kelp, alf, EWC tea.. GSC she's a fucking beast no stopping her! GDP has eaten her cage, time for more cage. sour s needs to be pulled apart but I'm not topping her, she's going for dankest cola... Ya I'm making up my own category, deal with it, lol
Yea close to FF. living in Vacaville. Straight urban growing to the fullest. Can wait until the kids get older and I move to the country. This wasn't the original outdoor line up but things happened from some seeds not taking, dogs killing and destroying newly purchased clones and a few full grown plants. I had planned for 9 plants but ended up moving the last of my indoor plant outside and restarting indoor. I enjoy a good selection of meds and am enjoying it now that I got thing under control, but this year has had it's challenging.
Ok I've been out of for a week so been slacking on this thread, but I did some pruning and clean up of berry bushes. Getting ready for another cage er horti-trellis. They loved the tea and have all taken the heat in stride. GSC got a Brazilian GDP the sour strawberry, pruned the shit out of the inters and bottoms lots a scruff had to go was mold waiting to happen, also super cropped a few branch at the top because this thing is thick and doesn't spread naturally so I'm gunna give this a shot see how she likes it. Thanks for stopping by -gold hill
