Going Vegan

  1. can someone please give me an example of what you eat in a week as a vegan, also any other vegan food that tastes good :D

  2. Since I fast, eating only four-six hours out of the day, I only get in three basic meals a day. Meal one and two switch spots with one another depending on how I feel that day, and my third meal is always the same. Here's what my diet looks like atm..

    Meal 1 & 2
    Option 1 - Smoothie
2-3 servings of fruit; usually an apple or a kiwi with a mixture of berries
1 serving of a combination of rice protein isolate and pea protein isolate
    1 serving of hemp protein
1 serving of hemp seed hearts
    a handful of nuts
and raw organic cocoa plus some cinnamon

    Option 2 - vegetable/grain/legume based meal
    Variable 1: lentils, beans
Variable 2: kale, collard greens, broccoli, cauliflower
Variable 3: Basmati brown rice, basmati white rice (both are good for you!)
Constant: lettuce, zucchini, radishes, oregano, tofu, and parsley

    Meal 3
    handful of nuts
1/3 to 1/2 jar of peanut butter
one bowl of Ezekiel cereal with soy milk

If you want vegan food that tastes good, look up some recipes online or go to an Indian buffet. Taste is not a factor for me so I eat purely for function. However the most important determinant of what you should and shouldn't eat is going to be based on your blood type. Luckily I'm a blood type A, and by nature I need to avoid meat, dairy, eggs, and gluten. If you know your blood type I will be able to guide your diet better.
