We don’t do it for outside potted plant. Anything other helpful info ya can throw a first timer. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
why outdoors? I prefer having an external reservoir containing a pump (on a timer) that sprays water onto the root system. I've used halo rings and aeroponic sprayers to achieve this. A 5 gal bucket works nice, but I get the ones from Uline since they have a rubber ring in the lid to prevent backsplash (when using aeroponics). because the water temps rise and the opportunistic pathogens enjoy that. Follow the experienced. Make sure you have good pH and EC meters. Use beneficial organisms (Hydroguard, RootShield, EarthAlive, etc). Chill the water to about 17-20 °C. Go easy on the nutes.
