Take it from me brother, 5 days is not that bad. It won't be fun though. The worst part of being in jail is if you don't know if or when you'll be released - so you're good with that. Just find some people like yourself (there's usually a couple decent people in there for dumb shit like dui, vop, etc) and ride it out. Stick to yourself if you need to, read, and chill out. Use it as a time to reflect.

 

Man, that sucks. Here in Toronto, cops usually just take your bud and give a warning. From my experiences, you will only go to jail if you have a lot, or if you get a dick cop.

 

I feel your pain. There's some wisdom here in this post. Keep your mouth closed and mind your own business. Five days sucks. Hopefully it will be suspended for first time offense. I know this isn't the place to preach this but...the fuckin laws are WRONG and until WE change them, this STUPID shit will continue. We have the power...VOTE.

I just got pulled over two nights ago, and I live in Western Kentucky too.
I didn't get anything like that, I just have to go to court and the officer said I'll most likely get a slap on the wrist and have to pay some court fees.
Sucks that you have to go to jail.
I had a pipe and a little weed on me too. Strange.

Five days ain't shit, champ, you'll be out in a hot minute...I doubt you'll even end up serving much over a day. Show up to court, play it cool, judges tend to be pretty lenient when you're cool with them and I'd put money on a fine and probation before jail.

 

That is horrible.. I've heard Kentucky in general is pretty strict.

IF you do have to go to jail.. don't worry man. It's just 5 days and like Curt said; usually you will always meet someone who is halfway decent to help pass the time.

Let us know the outcome, I am curious. I guess if you don't post for a few days we will have an idea of what happened

I'm high, and sitting here just thinking about the actual reason you're going to jail..marijuana; a natural plant and herb that doesn't involve a mixture of chemicals. That's beyond fucked up if you think about it. The amount of alcohol, tobacco, and pharmaceuticals that is commericially sold and advertised, yet marijuana is illegal and requires jail time and/or rehabilitation. It goes beyond my sense of logic...This is some fucked up logic and thinking.

5 days for ur first offense? sounds like some bull shit. i went to jail one time when i didnt pay off my posession ticket. i spent 1 day in there before i got bailed out, shit sucks. wasnt really like bad, but shit was boring as hell. i would go insane from boredom eventually if i had to sit in there for a couple weeks or something

 

just imagine it as if your going on a free vacation with a mandatory 5 day t-break... 5 days is nothin btw
