I'm going to hershey park for the first time with my wife and kids. any1 have suggestions for rides to go on.
Never been there. Took a trip down the Hershey highway the other day. Totally different trip entirely, though. (I apologize, I couldn't resist) =SERIOUS NOTE= What does the park consist of? I can't say I've ever heard much about it.
I don't know its more of a kid friendly verison of kings dominion. They are suppose to have a sweet water park which is what i'm looking forward to.
the waterpark is sweet ive been there a couple times its a got a ton of good roller coasters ifyour into that kinda thing...also theres a ride thats all about the chocolate..its a decent ride to take it just tells you about the history and then you end up in a huge candy store...your kids will bug if they like candy
I'm not a big fan of Hershey... It's kinda boring, IMO. Definitely a more kid-friendly park. They have a couple decent coasters (Wild Cat, The Great Bear & Sidewinder), and a few good water rides (Tidal force was the only one that caught my interest, really)... The chocolate tour will make your kids freak out, lol. They'll love you forever if they got some sweet tooths
The waterpark is alright but nothing compared to Six Flags in NJ or other really good waterparks. The rollercoasters are pretty tight, I like to just walk around looking for people dressed up in giant chocolate costumes. They hand out free candy and never remember you so you can easily get 4-5 good bars from EACH ONE free.
duuuuuuuuude, i worked at hershey park for 4 years..........blech... no, but its a good place, i recomend not eating in the park (i worked in foods) not that the food is gross but it costs waaaaaaaaaaay to much
If your looking for mild roller coasters, I would look into The Comet, The Super-Da-Looper, Lightning Racer (maybe), and a mining train ride (can't remember the name). If you're looking for a lot of water rides, they have a decent amount and they all are pretty much in the same area with the exception of the log flume (which is located near the great bear). Have a good trip!
