Going clean!

  1. Well, I have had an awesome 3 years smoking pot, but I think it is time for me to quit for the time being. I am getting really close to my girl, and she is not a fan of it, and I am also trying to enhance my spiritual life. I don't really know how exactly this is going to work out.. but I do know I will save a shit ton of money and I won't have to worry about getting caught. This is not really going to change my life at all.. I am going to hang out with the same pot smoking friends, and maybe continue to drink, but I just won't smoke.

    Any thoughts to this?

  2. good luck dude

  3. Its good to end on a high note i think. I know eventually when I get older im gona stop so I rather stop on a high note.

  4. it's definitely a great thing to feel like you're moving forward. good luck with everything.

  5. I agree, good luck!

  6. Thank you for the good wishes fellas, I will still get on GC regularly.. not much else to do late at night.

  7. dude enhance your spiritual life with more grass.

when your girlfriend is asleep at night go right up to her and blow hits from your RooR right on her face.

  8. nah but it sounds like you have your shit together and your priorities in the right order, i hear ya.

good luck stay with the City.

  9. I agree as far as the girl part goes, I'm getting really close to mine and have not smoked in a bit. She doesn't mind but damn, in it were legal, would we be in the same situation? A heavy cig smoker, I can't help but to wonder if the two would be comparable if both had the same legal status. I don't want to impede your spirituality but we're are just homo sapiens sapiens, another species of animal on this planet that happened to evolve beyond instinct, we are no more special then any other, though I can't argue spirituality vs religion. forgive the drunk ramblings of myself, an anthropology major I can't help but fell this way. Regardless, good luck and I hope everything works out, true love > marihuana.

  10. I quit smoking before cause my b/f didn't like it- we broke up and I went right back into it- either cause I was depressed or bored but I probably would quit again in the same circumstance- but thats hard cause I only go out with guys who smoke now-- it is hard to have a relationship w/ someone when only one smokes and the other doesn't like it. usually they end up breaking up- but you've chosen her over the weed, in a way- which should make your relationship stronger- you'll be able to do more things and be more social I hope she appreciates that as she should and that you find the spiritual being ur looking for-- u seem happy and that's when a lot of people decide to quit- they realize there's more to life

  11. Nice to see such maturity on your part.I'll tell ya,I quit smoking bud almost 8 months ago for powers over my control, and even though to this day I wish I could smoke,I'm glad I made the decision to stay clean. It's opened my eyes to what the world is about, and how far I can really go about living my life.Granted,in a few months I will have the ability to start smoking again, which I look forward to every day,but I will never forget this year, and I will never forget being able to know that I have willpower, which will help me carry on throughout life.Anyways,I just wanted to contribute my reply, and I hope everything goes well for you.

  12. I belive in one good excuse for quitting and thats when you've smoked all you can smoked expirenced all you can.. death

  13. Your doing the Right thing... TRUST me. If weed ever was the reason you lsot your girl you would never forgive yourself, stay clean.

  14. it seems like a good idea for you. go through with it and atleast quit for a good amount of time. much of luck with you

  15. good luck man

  16. Least you arent being forced to stop and you know if you really wanted to smoke you can. Best of the luck to you bro!

  17. Oh good luck man.

I promised my girl I was going to quit for her but after six months I ended up getting blackout drunk and one of my buddies made me take some bong hits...I woke up the next morning and had to smoke... it was aweful.

So I ended up doing it behind her back for about eight months....we broke up but she never found out about the bud.

I still feel like the biggest ass in the world for doing all the sneaking but dude yeah...
Good luck man, its tough to leave behind especially if you still hang out with stoner friends.

    So yeah....Good luck dude! :hello:

  18. as truly wonderful as weed is, people are always more important.

me, I can't see myself giving it up permanently, EVER. but if I were in a relationship with a person who wasn't the most comfortable with it, I'd probably cut back. not quit, but very discreetly do it, in private, whenever my significant other wasn't around.

for now, though, I'm not in a relationship, so . . . uh, yeh.

I'm on a tolerance break right now though . . . six weeks n'running. I know the weeks cuz I quit the day I started my closet grow :D but we still have yet to see if I'll even get anything off of it yet.

  19. I'm in love with mary jane so no girl or person would make me quit bud :smoking: :hello: :D
