Patriots vs. Dolphins on now... I really hope Miami can pull off a win. I know it's a long shot, but I can still hope. I really fuckin hate NE... And no, it's not 'cause they're undefeated. I'd hate them just as much if they were 0-14....
Final score - 38 NE / 3 Miami -Mark not a chance in hell miami will get close hahaha, im rootin for em but you know how that went all season
the dolphins have managed to beat the pats 3 years so them winning isnt that much of reach Go Dolphins!!!!! Go Titans!!!!!
15 and 0 I swear it's like every play they execute the Patriots break a new record Most TDs in a season Most points in a season and both Brady and Moss are two TDs away from breaking their respective TD records (passing and receiving) Anybody feel like some NFL talk? What did your teams do today? It's like a gaping void when Kingpins doesn't start a Sunday night chat thread.
the dolphins can effect the super bowl injure a few key player, or record play calls or something like that
Here's some info on those confiscated Spygate tapes, if you're interested Confiscated Patriots Videotape Contains Extensive Footage of Tom Brady Showering - The Onion
Oh man, was it bad in Chicago. The weather was epic, and the Packers lost 35-7. This might be a good thing they lost the homefield advantage, I don't want to see them play in that kind of weather again!
Okay call me biased but Brady breaking Manning's record isn't so huge because the year Manning broke the record he didn't play the second half in a lot of those games because the score was out of hand. Brady has played most of all the games because the Pats like to run the score up. This isn't Brady's fault, but Manning could've had 60 td's that season. Moss has 21 touchdowns thru 15 games........Jerry Rice had 22 in 12 games. You can say whatever you want, but you gotta know it's no way Rice would have gone those last four games without scoring another td. Asterisk
Indianapolis Colts backup QB Jim Sorgi played in 4 games during 2004. He attempted 29 passes, total. That's 7.25 passes for each game he played in. That hardly shows that Peyton left "a lot" of those game before the second half. 49-14, 41-10, 41-9, 51-24, 49-24...would you say that those scores had been run up? Because they're all final scores from Manning's record-breaking 2004 season. I guess the only difference is that one QB is an aw-shucks country boy, and the other could be a GQ model on a team with an unlikable coach.
BAHA BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuckin haters'.. Pats just flat out OWN right now.. We're breakin every record with Talent.. everyone hates the pats cuz we're 15-0...simple as that... what i just read right there is soo funny and simply proving the better QB as well..
7.25 passes is quite alright for a backup especially when you consider that when you bring your backup into the game, you arent passing the ball anymore, you tend to run on 1st and 2nd downs and only pass on 3rd down. This was even true yesterday as the Colts slaughtered the Texans. But I agree Peyton Manning is a much better QB than Tom Brady. Tom Brady has the advantage of playing in a more aggressive offense and has less responsibility than Peyton does. Peyton is pretty much the offensive coordinator as is Brett Farve. Their knowledge and experience is what separates them from Tom Brady. Tom Brady= Colt Breenen
Brady has more Super Bowl wins than Favre and Manning combined. That's experience. And he did it on teams with far less aggressive offenses than the 2007 team. During their Super Bowl runs, the Patriots were known more for their defense.
Right. Thats why he never set passing records when he played on a more conservative offense. Superbowl Rings is a team award. Not a QB award. There have been plenty of QB's who arent good who have won superbowls. Brad Johnson? Trent Dilfer? Mark Rypein? Jim McMahon? Oh but the list can continue. Kerry Collins, Neil O'Donnell, Craig Morton, and Chris Chandler are the other names that come to mind. It takes a team to win a superbowl, not just a QB.
Tom Brady has won the big games and has had a great career to this point, but anything can happen. Theres been soo many QB's who have started their career on fire, and 1 injury and they are done. Thats why makes Peyton Manning and Brett Farve superior. They have already accomplished what Tom Brady hopes to accomplish. Except for the agrument of superbowl rings.
For people who believe in stats and not comparing QB's by team awards and projections: Brett Farve: 61,556 Yards Passing, 61% Completions, 440 TD's Peyton Manning: 41,531 Yards, 64% Completions, 306 TD's Tom Brady: 26,041 Yards, 62% Completions, 195 TD's Dont worry, I could see where someone who was biased could get a little confused. EDIT- I know we are agruing about placement of 3 of the top 10 Quarterbacks to play (As long as Brady does stay healthy and plays a long career)
My only argument against that would be that both Favre and Manning have been playing longer than Brady, so career totals are meaningless.
