  2. There are no GMO cannabis seeds but maybe I'm wrong, if you know of any, I'd love to have some.

  3. No.

It takes many years of research with serious deep pockets to fund the development of any GMO crop.

Nobody is growing a GMO crop without first signing a contract and lots of oversight.

You are not going to accidentally grow a GMO crop.

  4. Nope, GMO is a clone-only strain :lmafoe:

In all seriousness, GMO cannabis has already been developed. I heard about one strain that was modified to produce water soluble cannabinoids for infused beverages.

  5. So feminized seeds and auto flowers are not a type of GMO ?

The expensive seeds with the fancy names are made using selective breeding which isn't the same as genetic modification. There is no GMO cannabis available other than the strain someone named GMO. Maybe at some point in the future some large agricultural corporation will produce seeds that grow mite or caterpillar resistant cannabis and I hope they do, but they haven't yet.

Edit....Perhaps I haven't been keeping up. Apparently a company says they've made a GMO cannabis plant that produces water soluble CBD (thanks gxxire) and is able to make a plant that produces water soluble THC but I don't know, my first thought is what happens when it rains? Will the cannabinoids wash away?

  9. that is most likely rearranging the Oliveltol to make it water soluble ...
I seen some research years back at yahoo of all places about THC being Gene spliced into tobacco plant .... the research apparently did not make it far as THC is still Fed illegal and all that hence why blah blah - the best thing about prohibition is no GMO cannabis plant ...!! if you look into the sector now ther are interests being placed in the GMO Sphere of influence and newly derived GMO ( Strains ) will be literally the Norm ...
even more so the Bio synthetic cannabinoids being made n vats will replace most plant fields of cannabis plant

  10. I think a HLVd or mite resistant modification is a great idea but water-soluble THC isn't. I don't think the world is ready for injectable THC and it would open a whole new can of worms. And for what reason? Is adding THC to a can of flavored sugar water that great of an idea? IMO it's a marketing gimmick only although some Blades around here will disagree with that, especially if they're in the business of selling.

  11. Cannabis should never look delicious to a child.
Make it flavorless and green as far as I'm concerned.

Same fucking problem they had with Tide Pods.
Kids were eating them left and right. Now they're
put in opaque packaging and they're green.
There are no kids thinking they're candy and
    eating them now.
