Hi everyone, I'm new to this do bear with me if I have put this in the wrong place. I have this glass mannequin head that i got today and I really want to turn it into a bong or pipe or something in the future, but I'm not sure how. The head is hollow an closed everywhere but the base of the neck. I really wanna do this but I just need some outside thinking, any ideas would be helpful
That would be sick as fuck.... I'd definitely put the bowl in his mouth! I'd be too afraid to drill through it with a diamond drill bit though... Where'd you even get that thing from?!
I was thinking bowl in the mouth as well! I feel like I would have to have some glass blowing experience to make this one... I got it as Ross for $8! 'twas a good buy
Cover up the base, fill the neck with water, use a bent downstem through the mouth so it dips down into the center of the pool in the neck. Put a tube out the top of the head. I'd recommend using a glass slide-bowl and a carb hole, rather than a removable bowl Diamond tipped drill bit (get two or three) to cut the hole for the bowl Diamond tipped drill bit and dremel glass grinding head to make a tube hole in the top of the head WEAR A RESPIRATOR. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS. WEAR A RESPIRATOR OR YOU WILL PROBABLY DIE Okay, not that bad, but seriously, the volume of glass dust put off by this project would be very dangerous. Constantly wet both the drill bit, and the surface your drilling (both for the metal dust and for heat control so it doesn't shatter) Lastly, use high grit sandpaper (1000-2000) so smooth off everything you drilled. Don't sand with your hand, because the sharp class will slice the sandpaper at some point and you don't want your hand to be the next thing in the way And yes, all of this does work if you do it right... My brother has the same mannequin. I made it into a bong. We got a glass slide bowl and some aquarium tubing for the bowl/downstem (the glass slide keeps heat from hitting the tubing directly). I wish he still had it, I'd snap you some pics. It was hilarious.
You could also just make a hole for your mouth on the back of the head, and a carb hole on the forehead/top of the head, if you didn't want to attach a tube.
@Knife Doctor, that's pretty much how I was thinking about doing it at first, but I feel like I could be just a wee bit more creative... I actually just thought of an idea that I will draw and post a picture of soon!
