Glass bong broke

    I was cleaning my bong and as I was running water through the bong it cracked randomly. Did I do something wrong to make it crack?

    Have you dropped it or hit it on something before? Was it really cold or hot water?

    Yeah it was why did that make it break?

    It may of had a small crack in it already, but hot water would increase the crack.

    How hot?

    Heat causes stress in glass. If it was a cheap piece, than there you go, that is why it broke.

    yeah it was cheap and pretty hot but it doesn't matter I ordered a 300$ bong a day before I did this on GC

    ya wash it with iso and salt then rinse with room temp water man.

    What bong? Why would you just say " I ordered a 300 dollar bong" ? Price does not really matter..

    Did you heat the water on the stove? Or just hot tap water?

    Hot tap water and it's the double perc tower bong I forget the brand it's over 2 feet i think
