I posted this in the general forum, but I figure some of you guys might have some info for me. So here's the post again: I'd really like to learn, but I can't seem to find any info on schools near Chicago. Does anyone have any information on the art of glass blowing. I'd be interested in anything. My ideal job would be to make all sorts of pieces, and then sell em at my head shop. I'm thinking that I'd have to go to an art institute or somthing. Do you guys think it would be pretty lucritive? I'm sure someone has some info on this subject. I'd appreciate anything. Thanks.
You might want to go to a local headshop and ask around.. I know that one of the shops by my house, the cashier had worked with blowing glass.. or they might know people in general
yeah, I am in minnesota and i went to the eletric fetus and they gave me a name of a guy named tom and he has a shop and he mentors people and you follow him around for a while and i am going to do it
We have a few head shops around that sell localy blown pieces, but i see some amazing ones at some shows when bands like phish come to Atlanta. I dont know how to blow glass, but i think it is a beautiful art form and it would be bad ass to blown my own pipe then get high from it.
