  1. Hey GC I live in the Middle Tennessee area and i was wondering if anybody knows of anywhere there are some glass blowing classes i could sign up for in the area. If you know anything let me know it would be great

  2. google is your best bet.

  3. All I know is unless you got like 5g's to blow on equipment right now you might want to work on that lol

  4. I wouldn't say 5 more like 2kish maybe a bit more.

  5. i wouldnt know but i guess it depends on what type of equipment you buy? I guess 5k if you buy the best stuff, least thats what LEAR said.

  6. ...which is why you take a class first. They provide shop space to learn and work. If you want to set up your own shop, then you'll need a torch, a kiln, safety equipment, etc. which will be about $4k.

  7. Not to mention rent and utilities.

  8. set that shit up in your garage:p

  9. I've also looked into a few classes around here. I found two, one was a more of an introduction with a bigger group and you got to work a little bit but the "gift" you take home is made by their guys. This one was $65 to get a glass ornament or $130 to get a vase at the end. And the other one was with only 4 students at a time and you got to blow your own stuff and it was $125 I think.
