Giving Blood

    Can I give to the red cross?
    If so, they come to my work every 4-5 months with the van... is that just flirting with trouble giving blood there? I mean they cant say anything to my job its all confidential correct.

    Should be confidential, yes. They will ask about any medications you take. You should really tell them. I don't know if they will still let you donate though.

    I've give blood fresh baked before... they only test it to see the type and to make sure you don't have any transmittable diseases... You should eat a shit ton of LS and donate it hahaha... Not funny.

    Yeah you'll be fine, they can't test for anything without your consent anyway. You even have to sign a release for them to test the sample for HIV.

    yeah man your good..ive given and gotten blood high before they dont even worry about weed..if it was some other kinda drug they would want to know but not that they dont care

    Even if they do get you fired for consuming marijuana, congratulations you just hit the mother fucking jackpot of lawsuits.

    And you should absolutely tell them you smoke weed, they're not trying to catch you, they're trying to make sure the blood is 100% safe to be pumped into sick/dying people.

    Wrong....VERY WRONG


    They test ALL BLOOD before they give it to someone...they're not going to keep blood carrying diseases and just give it to someone and hope for the best.


    Sure, they don't test right then and there, but they do test it.


    They wont say shit though. You don't even need to tell them

    You've never had to sign a consent form before giving blood? Of course they test the samples, but they can't without your permission.
