i have a freind who donated some blood and right after he finished donating and he was light headed from all tha blood being drawn out he smoked a bowl and was high like all day so blazed... anyone know anything about this? lol im ceriouse,... hows this work?
Thats actually true from my experience. About a year ago, I was really sick with both Staph and Limes Disease and while they were going through the bloodwork to find out what the hell was wrong with me, the doctors found that I had anemia. Now, that just means I don't have enough iron in my blood, which isn't too bad and is actually fairly common. The problem with that was that they had to take more blood every week to check all my levels and make sure the treatment wouldn't cause any major changes in my iron level. So each week I had to go get 9 vials of blood taken. Yup, 9. That's a good ammount of blood to get taken out of you ever week. So one time, right after I got done with the blood drainage, I went to a friends house and took a few hits out of his bong. Now, I've got a pretty decent tolerance and not much gets me "really" stoned except for some DANK ASS nuggets, but we didn't have that; just some mids. So after taking 3-4 hits or whatever, I gave it a little break to just chill a bit and WOW, I was stoned as hell. It took me a few hours to figure out what happened, but I realized it must have been the slight lack of blood that did it. After that, I made it a point to smoke right after getting blood drawn to enjoy the extra little boost it gives you.
lmfao thats fuckin nuts... thats so cool... next time i donate blood im ganna blaze a bowl right after like while im fuckin gettin tha iv done ha!
don't waste your time the ignorant shits test all blood and yours will come up positive for THC which means they toss your viable blood out basically in trying to do good you've now red flagged yourself as a pothead in the system on top of your blood helping no one if enough of you good souls actually fight and vote for legal weed your blood may be used to help those in need but it ain't gonna happen till ya stand up for your rights (and the system gets a chance to actually do more research on the effects of use)
Ars has an excellent point. While in the army I learned after giving blood it was cheap and ease to get drunk. Would pot actually do this. We smoked pot as well, but the liquor hid all the effects. You wanna give your blood? give it to yourself. Find a blood band that keeps your blood for your use.
actually that's wrong. they don't test for THC, the only test for diseases like hepatitis and aids. I gave blood and they sent me a letter telling me i should go give more lol after i gave blood i smoke but i didn't really get anymore baked, it will for some people but not everyone. getting drunk on the other hand will be really easy after giving blood lol.
^ these days most basic blood work ups include a drug test by default so unless they don't have the resources to do so it'll be rejected before it gets beyond that point fucked up for sure but what can you expect from a system that accepts the government's moral code over cold hard science
it's true but I wouldn't do it, it does definitely make you higher. they don't screen for drugs lol.. why would they? they screen for pathogens
i cant legally donate blood in the US. ive tried many times, and theres a blood drive today outside, and i want to give so badly, but i cant. oh well.
They don't test for drugs... I'm a regular donor, and they've never sent me anything saying my blood is unusable (and they WILL send you something if they're not using your blood -- so you know to stop donating)... They only test for pathogens (HIV, Hepatitis, STD's, etc.)... And yes, smoking after you donate gets you fuckin BAKED. It can mess with your BP though, and cause you to pass out...
He probably takes certain types of meds that prevents him for donating. My moms blood is considered toxic from all the heart meds she has to take.
cause i was born in england. apparantly the us is still worried about cow terrorism in the form of mad cow desease.
like I said it depends on resources here they won't hit ya with any paperwork as it's a slick way to get drug history w/o a forced or consented DT all while wasting useful red gold lol @retroshark - again yet another lame reason to deny needy people and claim shortage (btw English girls kick fuckin' ass)
Actually, it's because there's a human form of Mad Cow Disease that they're incapable of testing for... So rather than give someone blood that's potentially infected, they choose to just not use the blood...
This is completely wrong... they never test for THC in donated blood. They usually test for diseases and sometimes test for opiates and alcohol, but never THC. They told us this in high school when they were having a blood donation drive. And no they won't "red flag you" even if your blood is unusable, they'll just throw it out.
