I have been in and out of about all the music scenes and came to realize I don't like any specific genres just quality musicianship itself. It wasn't until I moved to the mountains and found the Bluegrass scene that I noticed this more. All I can say is for how few pickers there are, there are so many of them killing it. The average caliber of musicianship in comparison to the other genres is off the charts. Perhaps I'm wrong or just have just found my true taste; but, whether it be the cry of a fiddle, bounciness of an upright, or the twang of a banjo I just can't find a more solid sound than the harmony of a few well picked strings. I am left with a problem though, there isn't enough out there and I need help finding more.
