Girls have stopped getting bigger...Why?

  1. Hi,
I am an experienced outdoor grower from Canada now in southern Europe. Lots of sun and no detection worries.
I put 2 rootbound plants into 20 litre pails from 5 litre pails. They certainly haven't minded the upgrade, and look great, but they are really growing very slowly now. They've had plenty of time to recover from any "shock" but are vegetatively sort of standing still. What gives here?

  2. How long has it been? Cuz I did the same, and it took about a week to really see growth pick up again and I think it had to do with the condition of the roots. They were wrapped around the pot, so when in the new soil, they had to begin growing out into the new soil before growing resumed. You water around the edges of the pot right? I've only grown 1 plant, but I try to give a hand where I can.

  3. you use the same soil?
here s the thing, cannabis likes to root there pots before hitting there growth spurt, so unless you did not damage the rooting system and its not showing deficiencys or pest issues assuming your plants are growing at best conditions like
and your ph is fine, no over or under watering, nutrient issues then the problem would lie waiting untuill the plant roots most of the pot

this iis why i tell people not to put plants into big pots and to move them up when they need it

it causes the plant to slow the growth when you put a smaller plant into a big pot

i put 12 in tall plants in to minimum 1 gallon size pots

  4. Yeah, I'm with you on the repotting too early, but these really were ready. The one gallon pots were a full ball of roots. I think you guys are right, and they are growing roots. They are so healthy that must be it. Thanks.

  5. Oh and no, it was a different (superior) soil. Texture was pretty similar though.
