It's def. not her age, man. I just got out of a relationship with a girl like this but she is older than me. It might get a little better once she starts to open up and learn she can be comfortable with you (it's only been 5 months) I would just give it a little bit more. It would be reasonable to break up because of that... if you're not happy with a big part of a relationship, why stay in it?
Sounds like she's just extremely insecure, possibly from previous mental abuse or bullying. Compliment her, tell her how much you appreciate her body, and let her know that you're attracted to every part of her as often as you can without it coming off as fake or insincere. It might take a while, but the longer you keep at it the more confidence she'll gain and the more she'll be willing to try. If you really like this girl, it'll be worth it eventually. You might be the only one willing to put in the effort. If you're just looking for a quick fuck, well, you're better off finding someone else. This is coming from personal experience :]
good advice so far...thanks guys whenever we drink and get back late from parties/bars, she always claims shes too tired and falls asleep. which is a shame because i can usually go for hours after knocking back some drinks. she seems to get really horny when we smoke but we very rarely smoke, maybe once or twice a week if that. buds are too expensive and we're two unemployed college kids. another thing that i dont like is that shes very shy around my friends. she insists on "hanging out with the guys" but will kind of sit on the couch and not say anything for hours. i sometimes even forget shes there. shes a really sweet, loving and interesting girl i just have to figure out a way to get her out of her shell. one positive that my buddies have brought up though is that i never have to worry about her being a slut or what she's doing when shes "out with the girls". i've tended to get very jealous in past relationships but i completely 100% trust this girl because she is the way she is. theres never any drama with her.
It sounds like she's just really insecure about her body, compliment her whenever you can. It'll boost her confidence to the point where she'll be relaxed around you, and it'll spill over into your sexual life. You just have to take time, man.
