GG day 20: Have started ponytailing to expose lower growth. Note: Have reversed light schedule to now be off during daytime higher Temps, and run during cooler nights.. still box is a little warmer than I'd like (between 80-85°F for High) but plant doesn't seem to mind yet.
I want to use larger pots, but due to my location I have to be discrete as possible.. so space is a issue. 5 gal is about as big as I can fit in my box until I stop being lazy and build a custom container
GSC Day 25 ( 1 week after topping) Going to start some LST today to spread the two top sites out a little
Glue Day 29: Have only done mild defoliating til now. Will feed compost tea today. GSC Day 30: She's noticeable behind the Gorilla Glue, but she's being grown outdoors and was topped around 2 weeks. Still waiting to see if she'll catch up.
Looking good my friend! Im experimenting with my first two topped autos. I will be watching yours. Cheers Os
Yeah I wanted to try myself, but now in hindsight I feel like it's not a fair evaluation being that the gsc is outdoors and enduring all the elements. I'm still curious how she'll turn out tho. I'm anticipating alot of growth this week from both
I accidentally topped one of my CDLC and she didn’t skip a beat, I don’t think I’ll be doing it purposely down the road but I’m no longer a doubter
Neither of mine have skipped a beat either. In fact the more sativa dom seemed to really like it a lot. Cheers Os
Welcome to the club buddy I grow the exact same way but with also hairy fetch, oats, rye grass, and bell beans as well as subterranean clovers. Combined with endo/ectomichorizzae fungi network. They prevent soil erosion and create more carbon sequestration. Are you practicing NoTill as well?
Yes this is only my second run in this pot tho. Only thing added is worm castings, organic dry amendments, and occasional compost teas. I didn't reseed the cover crop this round tho, just left it with a mulch to see if it helps a little more with water retention. So far it has made a big difference for sure
