Yeah I wish it was as easy as that, but you really can't help who you like, and she says that we could might have something in the future, which I like the idea of, which means moving on to a girl I don't like as much will ruin that. Kinda stuck :/
I'd move on. she could mean it, or she could just be trying to soften the blow of turning you down. if in the future she does decide she wants to try something and you're still feeling it, then cool. either way waiting around for her is unlikely to change her mind, and might make her less attracted to you
Same fucking situation, actually for 7 months now and still going. I feel ya man I'm going through something similar. But to be honest, I feel the only way to really move on from heavy shit is to try to cut contact. You just got to take yourself out of that situation to get past it. But that's just me.
