Ginseng getting you high?

  1. I just read in a book that Ginseng can get you high. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm always down for trying new things, and the way the author described it it definitely sounds interesting. Looked it up but there isn't much on the subject.

  2. Nutmeg can too.

But you see where that got us.

  3. I've came close to trying nutmeg before when I was dry but never did it because of all the nasty side effects I've heard of.

  4. I asked about it on here and got tore a new one because of my ignorance.

    Lol.

But for real, I seriously don't know of any ginseng stuff. I have serious doubts about it.

  5. Its a stimulant so it does give you energy, a little more intense than caffeine, but i wouldnt say high.

  6. it doesn't get you high at all

  7. According to a Sports Nutrition FAQ published by UMass Amherst, one of P. ginseng's most common side-effects is the inability to sleep.[15] However, other sources state that ginseng causes no sleep difficulties.[16] Other side-effects can include nausea, diarrhea, euphoria, headaches, epistaxis[17], high blood pressure, low blood pressure, and mastalgia.[18]
