Gig Posters

Well recently I designed this poster/flyer for my friends gig, and I found it pretty fun to create. Now it turns out a lot of people seem to like it, and Ive even got some people asking me to design for their bands.

So hopefully I could have started myself a small business, ahaha.

Well heres the first complete one.



And heres the second imcomplete one - just needs text.

 

Fuck I just erased my whole message pressing the backspace key. Damn!

Anyway, let me try again - The first one was themed themed towards the venue, Hence the name of the ship 'The Hope', alond with the anchor - For 'The Hope and Anchor'. A pirate ship seemed most appropriate.

The second one seems to draw most attention due to the lines that point into the centre image, which seems to be a good technique for the desired viewing effect.
Theres no text yet, as I dont know any gig details.

The first gig is this friday, so Im kind of ahead of the game on designing the second.

Heres the updated version. The gigs next week, so I started getting em out since this monday. Only changes are the text, and increased contrast, etc.
